Kaffa Espresso Bar, Penang International Airport

Here's an update on a nice cafe I visited recently. Last week, we went to Kaffa Espresso Bar at Penang International Airport. That was my first time there.

It will be the first cafe you'll see as you drive up the departure halls of the airport. Well, if you worry about finding a near parking spot, there are a few parking spots right in front of the cafe for Kaffa customers only. How convenient right?

Favourite Cafe, Beach Street, Georgetown, Penang

Finally I have some time to blog on the cafe I visited recently. I'm not sure if this cafe famous in the blogosphere world or not but this is the first time I noticed and visited them. This little humble cafe is located at Beach Street and is named Favourite Cafe. I guess it's everyone favourite cafe. :)

Well, I would say that their menu is simple and not extensive. Actually their menu is just plainly written on a simple small notebook without any illustration on their dishes.

If you like and appreciate antiques and vintage feel, this cafe would be perfect for you as there are many antiques displaying around nearly every corner of the cafe.

Ladies, talking about vintage, I would like to take this opportunity to share a few favourite vintage clothings from Myss Closet. Perfect outfits to vintage cafe.

Nice quote. Life is a journey (not a destination)

Simply can't resist the temptation to take picture with this simple yet interesting coffee/latte art.

Honest comment. Aglio Olio and BBQ chicken was just okay. Nothing spectacular.

This Mushroom Chicken was also so-so.

Before I forget, let me mention this, this place is not air conditioned so it's better to visit at night. Nonetheless, if you just just want to chill, relax and sipping some nice coffee, this should be a suitable place.

Till then...

Found this pic in my camera which I find it quite nice. So I think it is good time to refresh my cover pic.

I like Ang Pows

Today, I have one confession to make is that I really like to collect Ang Pows. Who doesn't? :)

But what I really mean is the red envelopes not the $$$ inside them. Ang Pow envelope is one of my collectable. As you know, Ang Pow envelopes go by many different names and are commonly known as “laisee”,  “hung bao”, “Ang Pow” or “red packet”.

Nowadays, they come in all different colours and sizes although they are mainly red color. The envelopes main use is for Chinese New Year, birthdays, weddings or any other important event where a gift of money is given. These envelopes are seen as extremely auspicious when given as a gift.

It's an instant mood lifter whenever I receive Ang Pow with nice and unique design. The usual image on the front of an Ang Pow is a symbolisation of blessings and good wishes of long life, success and good health to the receiver of the envelope but in this modern times, a lot of manufacturers incorporate some interesting designs to make the Ang Pow look more attractive. :)

The other day, I wore this design above in red from Myss Closet. The cut and material used is really awesome. Comes in only 1 size, fits all. I super love the lace at the back as it is very sexy, bold and classy.
